Just as Earth was warming out of the last ice age, a sudden deep freeze gripped the Northern Hemisphere within mere decades.
Scientific evidence points to catastrophic impacts, possibly maybe from a comet impact, creating widespread megafauna extinction, and colossal meltwater pulses that rapidly swallowed prehistoric coastlines and disrupted early human civilizations globally.
The lost civilisation and Atlantis
Consider this: When coastal sea levels surged dramatically at the conclusion of this period, entire settlements and advanced marine cultures could have become submerged beneath hundreds of feet of water.
