Understanding mental health for everyone

Anyone, at any age, can suffer from mental health issues. It's your job as an educator to recognise any 'signs' and help!

Mental health affects us all

Mental health doesn't discriminate. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone can face challenges that impact their well-being. Through RealEd, I hope to  foster an environment where these issues are better understood and addressed with empathy and proper knowledge. My goal is to reach everyone, however I am not, and do not Profess to be, an expert in phsycology,  so I recommend the skills of the NHS UK for insights, tools, and expert support with mental health issues.

The educator's vital role

As educators, you will often be on the front lines, uniquely positioned to observe and respond to the early signs of mental health struggles.

This page is designed to empower you with the understanding needed to identify these signs and to offer appropriate support.

I can help by providing basic resources to help you guide those in need towards a path of healing and growth. After that, it's your job!

Learn more with RealEd's approach

At RealEd, I want to champion a distinctive approach to education: if you truly want to teach, do it properly.

My content goes way beyond today's 'easy', / 'lazy' surface-level information, that everything appears to have become these days.

I Believe in encouraging deep engagement and critical thinking, afterall this is someone else's life that is being affected here!

I encourage you to research more, and increase your own knowledge as much as possible, before delving into thinking you can teach because you had a baby once, after a fun night on the pino!
