He knew a lot about this civilisation
A man named Eric Arthur Blair (25th June 1903, died 21st Jan 1950) didn't have a very long life, but he certainly made the most of it! He created his 'author name' of George Orwell.
George Orwell's observations of society were remarkably prescient. Through his incisive writing, he seemed to peel back the layers of human nature and political systems, revealing truths that still remain profoundly relevant today.
His understanding of power, control, and individualism provides a potent lens through which to view our own contemporary world.
Reading his predictions
