Think you can teach?

Here at RealEd, I believe in empowering minds. This page explores a fundamental truth about learning: understanding how the human brain works. This insight is not just for educators but for everyone seeking to unlock their full potential and foster genuine intellectual growth.

Unlock your brain's potential

The core idea I want you to grasp is the profound impact of understanding your own brain. It's the most powerful tool you possess for learning and development. By comprehending its mechanisms, you can optimise your learning strategies, overcome challenges, and cultivate a lifelong love for knowledge.

Education for everyone

This knowledge is for everyone, regardless of your current educational background. Whether you're a parent considering homeschooling, a student looking to improve your grades, or an adult seeking to expand your understanding, the principles of brain function are universally beneficial. It's about empowering every individual to become a more effective learner.

Think carefully: homeschooling

After visiting this page, I want you to understand that homeschooling is far more profound than commonly perceived, more so in today's world where people have been (in my opinion) lead to believe that everything's easy, and the abundance of online influencers (online comedians) makes the obvious. It's not just about teaching subjects; it's about knowing what you are aiming to develop, it's about not unwhittingly damaging someone else's life opportunities, so please stop with all this nonsense today where a little boy starts school and a little girl leaves 12 years later!

By understanding cognitive processes, you can create a truly individualised and effective learning environment that goes beyond traditional schooling, your own personal opinion, just to get what you want, is really not necessary. You DO need to understand what you are attempting.

My unique approach: never assume

My own approach to teaching is rooted in one fundamental principle: never assume. My mother was a teacher, so I could easily assume I just inherited the ability to teach, but having an inquisitive mind, I  challenge conventional wisdom and encourage critical inquiry into how we all learn; afterall, no two people are the same. Unlike many systems that make assumptions about learning styles or methods, I advocate for a deep dive into the science of the brain, allowing for truly informed and adaptive educational practices. Explore My insights, and transform your understanding of education. But first watch an hour long film, and if that's too much for you, maybe have a serious rethink about homeschooling
