The First World War, spanning from 1914 to 1918, reshaped global politics and society. Often referred to as "The Great War," it involved the central powers against the allies and introduced new forms of warfare. But beyond the dates and battlefields, do you ever wonder about the underlying currents that led to such a monumental conflict? What forces were truly at play, and could some elements have been more than just random events?
World War 2: A devastating sequel, or a 2nd try?
Just over two decades after the end of the first world war the world plunged into world war 2, from 1939 to 1945.
This global conflict was even more devastating, leading to unprecedented loss of life and profound changes in international relations. Considering the recent memory of the previous war, one might ponder if the second conflict was an inevitable consequence, or if specific agendas and orchestrations contributed to its eruption. Was it merely a historical accident?
